               Fabric Awning Sealers

Fabric Sealer #1
Usually after 2 years the original factory applied sealer wears off. Perma-Seal Fabric Sealer #1 is designed to replace a fabric's worn out repellency. It's extremely easy to apply. Just gently spray it on clean dry awning fabric from the top down. Let gravity move the fabric sealer down the cloth. On an average day it will dry in about 1 hour and re-instill fabric repellency for another 2 to 4 years. Fabric Sealer #1 adds a fresh chemical repellent barrier that makes the fabric insoluble to water. This way water (rain) beads up and rolls down the awning. The fabric still retains its' breath ability.

Perma-Seal Fabric Sealer #3  is used to glue shut a leaky fabric. It can only be used when the awning fabric's repellency is completely worn out. It is an acrylic finish glue that is used to restore the missing acrylic finish. This sealer is usually used only for very old worn out materials. It is applied  to clean dry fabric by spraying it on from the top down. It will then soak in and glue the fabric threads shut. The fabric will no longer have  breath ability so it should not be used on roll up awnings and shades.

Fabric Weatherizer
Perma-Seal Fabric Weatherizer is our "Top of the Line" open weave fabric environmentalprotector. It is not designed to be a fabric repellent and water seal an awning. What it does is put a non-stick barrier coating around every thread. This helps keep pollution from sticking to the material, puts a protective layer on each thread so fading is greatly reduced, and increases the visual appeal of the colors. It is applied by spraying it on clean dry fabric from the top down. The fabric protector will take about an hour to dry.
